The Archive has more than 4,500 books on jazz, blues and related music. This wonderful collection is the largest in the UK, and is available for reference by visitors to the Archive.
We have copies of many early, rare books on jazz, as well as most significant books published since the 1950s. These are broadly classified as

We aim to acquire all books on jazz and blues published in the UK, and are very grateful to the many authors and publishers who donate copies of their new titles.
