  • Hawkins has moved into a 'nice little apartment' and has been asked to stay in Geneva until spring. He understands Benny Carter is 'to have a concert in London this month'. Hawkins hasn't recorded in a 'long time' - he was asked to go to Holland for a date some time ago but hasn't managed to leave Switzerland. He must do some recording - his last to come out was 'Meditation' but he wants to do another date as he's written several new numbers.,,
