The Orphy Robinson Experience: The Vibes Descibes

The incredible Mr Orphy Robinson MBE presents The Vibes Describes by our very own and globally renowned vibraphonist and NJA Trustee.

He sits on a variety of jazz and wider music industry boards and committees representing composers, performers and educators, and he has a magnificent musical CV extending over 40 years. It includes being one of only a few UK jazz musicians to be signed by Blue Note Records, as a founder member of the UK's most influentional collective the Jazz Warriors, and working with Don Cherry, Jean Luc Ponty, Sun Ra Arkestra and Nigel Kennedy… to name but a few!

With a CV like that you can only expect a fabulous band to sit alongside him and tell us an ‘illustrated’ story of the vibraphone in jazz.

Tickets cost £22.50 and can be ordered on the WeGotTickets website any time day or night with the addition of a small booking fee. This allows us to give you the best possible service.

Alternatively, if you are unable to purchase online, you may visit the Archive between 10.00am–1.00pm to pay in-person with a debit or credit card. Cash and cheques are no longer accepted.
