Ellie Pridgeon

Ellie Pridgeon has worked in the archive, library and museum sectors since 1998 and holds a PhD from the University of Leicester. She joined the National Jazz Archive as a Trustee in April 2021.
Ellie has her own consultancy and has a vast experience of working with many diverse organisations, including leading institutions such as the Science Museum, Imperial War Museum and Saint Paul’s Cathedral.
She has held lectureships at Leicester, Oxford and Cambridge Universities and has run numerous workshops. As a member of the Archives and Records Association, she has undertaken several roles including editor of their ARC Magazine for six years. In 2016 Ellie was elected a Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries of London.
Ellie is an accomplished amateur violinist and is passionate about a range of musical genres, including jazz.
