Tim Wall is Professor of Radio and Popular Music Studies and Associate Dean for Research in the Faculty of Arts, Design and Media at Birmingham City University. He has been a Trustee of the Archive since 2019.
Tim researches into the production and consumption cultures around popular music and radio with a particular interest in Jazz, and work on knowledge exchange projects.
He uses political economic and historical analysis combined with ethnographic studies, interpreted through discourse analysis.
