Armstrong was received very well in Glasgow and in Birmingham. He's in london for the next two weeks - Stratford Theatre in the first week and Holborn Empire the second. He's bought a new portable Victorola so he can play records. They've only got a couple - Don Redman's Sophisticated Lady and Ethel Waters' Porgy - both of which he thinks very good.,,
