  • Hawkins has met with a representative from the Belgium Rhythm Club who told him he should come over to belgium. Swansea is the 'saddest place [Hawkins] has ever been. Yet the audience are nice as they can be.' There's nothing to do but retire early and go to the pictures during the afternoon. He comments that Renee is now a representative of the Rythm Club and he's heard that Mack Sennet is over looking for film talent.,,
