  • Description
  • Hawkins finds the song 'God Made Me Only For You' adorable. His Gypsy violinist friend says Hawkins is the 'Gypsy of the saxophone'.. He'd 'love to come over for the broadcasts Elma has' but needs more details - 'For whom, how, and what for.' If someone doesn't tell him something soon he may never leave Switzerland as it's getting 'awfully good to me'. Someone has given him a 'gorgeous proposition for next winter in Zurich and I think I'm going to have to take it.' He's just written a new song - 'Love Cries' - and he'll record it in Paris for HMV soon. He got the inspiration for the words when dreaming of Renee. He's just finished playing poker where he lost 800 Swiss Francs.,,
