  • Renee's going to Budapest and, had Hawkins known earlier he could have met her in Paris on the way. Failing which she could go'return via Zurich and they could meet. He's also been considering going to Budapest. He'd like Renee to write and tell him about London - he's not heard from Elma (Warren) or anyone. he did get a letter from Leonard Feather about 'my records, etc' but feather returned to America before Hawkins could reply. Hawkins notes that 'today is Xmas day' and he misses Renee. He notes that he's had a message from Copenhagen that the leading paper - the 'B.J. Paper' - has said Hawkins is going back to Copenhagen - but Hawkins doesn't know anything about that.,,
