He says Renee's letters are 'to me like morphine is to a 'poor dope'. He's living at the Grand and not the Park - but he's at the Park so often because it's where lots of things go on. He hope that Renee and Elma between them can get him a permit for England. He asks what Jack Payne's Band is like now and if Garland (Wilson?) is still there. He's got lots of things to do in Copenhagen but he can't get a permit so he thinks he'll be going down to Paris shortly.,,
