  • Hawkins didn't want to leave Copenhagen but he's 'been having the time of my life here at Scheveningen. He's thinking of arranging with the 'director' to put a band of his own in the Kurhaus and Palais de Dance for next summer. He'll 'have to use mostly Dutch musicians but it's quite alright for I can get pretty good ones'. It depends on how he feels next year.,,
