  • Personal letter. Hawkins is playing in Sheffield with Jack (Hylton ?) at the 'Exposition' but he'll be glad when it's over. Fats Waller is also there 'this week at the Empire, and we have been having a time together - drinking of course'. Hawkins did a broadcast with 'Jack' (Hylton ?) 'last Monday night'.
