NJA 30th Anniversary with the National Youth Jazz Orchestra’s Nonet

Help us celebrate our 30th birthday at London’s iconic jazz venue, the 100 Club, with the National Youth Jazz Orchestra’s fabulous Nonet.

The NYJO Nonet comprises the very best of past and present members of the National Youth Jazz Orchestra. The Nonet is a showcase for some of the most talented young jazz musicians working in the UK, all of whom have progressed through the NYJO family.

With a focus on small-group improvisation, the Nonet will play the classics from the Great American Songbook that has established its reputation. Come along for the skill, the inspired soloists and the wonderful ‘cool-school’ arrangements.

To help the National Jazz Archive celebrate its 30th Anniversary Year, the Nonet will feature the following musicians:

Alto Sax - Lewis Boreland
Tenor Sax - Chris Whiter
Baritone Sax - Jonny Ford
Trumpet - Harry Evans
Trombone - Owen Dawson
