Catherine Lima is a vocalist, songwriter and ardent jazz storyteller. She has released two albums – Stories and Lies and The Allure of Miss Lee and is passionate about the art of lyric writing. She has written four shows – The Allure of Miss Lee, Peggy’s Got the Blues, Love Letter to Broadway and The Beat Goes On, interspersing an in-depth knowledge of the subject with the songs. Catherine has performed her shows about Peggy Lee to sell out audiences at Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club several times in the past few years. She has also designed and delivered workshops to introduce jazz to children in primary schools and is keen to see the National Jazz Archive help roll this out to help more young people appreciate the great world of jazz. |
