Pages 12 and 13 of Crescendo, August 1963, Vol.2, No.1. Page 12 has an amusing piece on a group of women visiting London's Archer Street in the hope of meeting some famous musicians, while page 13 relates the remarkable story of trumpeter Brian Firth overcoming severe facial injuries sustained in a car crash to resume his career. Wally Thompson endorses Autocrat drums in an advert at the foot of page 12.
