Page 28 consists of a series of short pieces giving advice to musicians on instruments, including the correct way to string a guitar, care for brass instruments and do's and dont's from bassist Johnny Hawksworth. There is also a photograph of the opening of Ivor Mairants' new Musicentre at Rathbone Place, London, attended by comedian Eric Sykes. Page 29 reviews Trombone Get-together, an educational package for trombonists published by the Leeds Music Corporation. An advert for Conn trumpets appears beneath.
