Dr Tim Wall

Tim Wall is Professor of Radio and Popular Music Studies and Associate Dean for Research in the Faculty of Arts, Design and Media at Birmingham City University.  He has been a Trustee of the Archive since 2019.

Tim researches into the production and consumption cultures around popular music and radio with a particular interest in jazz, and work on knowledge exchange projects.

He uses political economic and historical analysis combined with ethnographic studies, interpreted through discourse analysis.
