Dr Vic Hobson

Dr Vic Hobson is a researcher and writer on jazz, and previously lectured in jazz and blues at the University of East Anglia. He writes for the University Press of Mississippi and has recently published a book on Louis Armstrong.  

Vic joined the Board of Trustees in 2011 at the start of the Story of British Jazz project. He is the outreach co-ordinator for the Archive, establishing and maintaining contacts with other archives and organisations.

He has developed and supported project activities including The National Lottery Heritage Fund sponsored Intergenerational Jazz Reminiscence project.
